2025 Update – Matariki Mackenzie will not be held this year.

This pause allows mana whenua from Arowhenua, Waihao, and Moeraki to participate in Matariki activities on their respective marae this year.

Planning is underway for Matariki Mackenzie to recommence on Friday, 10 July 2026. We look forward to celebrating the rise of Matariki together again next year.
