The Dark Sky Project are supporters of Matariki Mackenzie and are offering a one-off Dark Sky Experience tour for festival attendees. 

This indoor astronomy experience combines Māori astronomy (tātai aroraki), storytelling, and science through immersive exhibition spaces exploring the night sky above Takapō and the wider universe.
