Rokoā is traditional Māori medicine. It encompasses a wide range of practices, including the use of native plants, massage, spiritual healing and other forms of natural therapy. Rokoā has been used for centuries to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. I grew up at Arowhenua where all people used and made rokoā, it was normal practice. The intangible, spiritual value implicit in all taoka tuku iho, responsibility requires vital care. Join Lavinia Reihana-Moemate to learn of the healing properties found within rokoā.

No prior knowledge of rokoā needed to attend this workshop.
